Yesterday and Today

So yesterday was the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton (now Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge). I'm not going to give you the whole details because you might probably seen it or don't want to read or hear about it anymore because everyone has been talking about it. I'm just gonna write a short entry about what I think about it.... most of it is about how beautiful their dresses are.
I've been waiting to see Prince William get married since I was a kid and I used to dream that maybe if I won't get to marry him I would be eventually be invited (yes I have high dreams). The wedding is very beautiful and very romantic. It's like watching a fairytale wedding (which people are thinking it is). I love the formality and informality of it all. It's not that awkward like Princess Di's wedding to Prince Charles is (somewhat). I do love Kate's wedding dress... it's a perfect dress for her.
Prince Harry was charming as Will's best man and Kate's sister, Pippa, is very beautiful and her dress looks amazing on her. What I don't like about the wedding is those guests with crazy shit hats. Ugh... are those fashionable for you? It's like you're wanting some attention. Just saying.
Okay I'm done about my feelings for the wedding. I'm happy for the couple. I hope they will end up very happy.

I have seen the Prince get married, my life is complete.



Today I watched West Side Story... I actually didn't know what it was about 'til the I was already in the first 30 minutes of the movie. I was like "Ahhh so it's like a Romeo and Juliet". I'm sorry I didn't really know. I didn't bothered searching about it until I was already watching it. The movie was very nice. I just don't like the love at first sight kind of things. The songs are very nice. There are songs that I already heard but I actually didn't know that it was from that musical like "Maria", "America" and "Somewhere".
The ending was more tragic than Romeo and Juliet and I like it better than Romeo and Juliet. Maria is not like Juliet at all. Juliet is this selfish, romantic, weak girl where as Maria is very strong and has a mind of her own. I was so glad that she didn't killed herself like Juliet did.



One more month and I'm going to college. Hello, De La Salle University, my name is Janine!
Just learned what my block is and there's a group in FB that lets you know who your blockmates are by liking this and that. Good thing I know someone from my block. THANK GOD! I'M GONNA STUDY LITERATURE!!

I'm actually nervous and kinda excited to go to college. Nervous about the part that I don't know most of the people and I've been raised in an all girls school and at DLSU it's co-ed (well duh...), I'm also nervous about the part that I have to stay in a dorm this year because DLSU is very far from where I live.

I would be attending school late because the start of school is May 25 and at that time I'm still in the states for my sister's graduation. I'll be missing first week of school and I'm scared of what will happened to me if I do miss important stuffs.

What I'm aiming for is to be a dean's lister and be able to study abroad in my 3rd year. I heard they offer things like that in DLSU and I'm pretty thrilled about that.

I should study hard and probably build up my vocabulary because it sucks.


Anyway. I'm very bored and lonely here. I don't have anyone to talk to and I can't wait to go to the states to see my sister. I'm longing for someone to talk to even if it's just random stuff. Wish me luck for college. I can't wait. BYE!

So I've been watching Community these past few days and I have to say that it's one of the best series we have at present. It's super hilarious. So far my favorite episode was the one that the school held a paintball game and I COULDN'T STOP LAUGHING! So if anyone out there is actually reading my blog, not just looking at my movie list, who does not watch Community and is looking for something to watch then I recommend this series because it is seriously awesome. You won't be disappointed.

Oh! Here is something from Community that isn't spoiler alert but is one of the reasons why I continued watching.

Confession Time

I think I'm falling in love (falling in love) with Josh Hutcherson. He's just so.... asdlfjadshfldhjsfkj. My weakness: Having too many celebrity crushes. I just can't believe he might be dating Vanessa Hudgens. Not that I don't like Vanessa (she's okay... or something) but I'd rather see her with Zac Efron than with Josh. PLEASE PLEASE!

Why must I even have theses stupid crushes with these celebrity. I can't take the fact that they can never know me. Huhuhuh. Sob. Sigh. Weep.

Worst Weekend Ever

I just had the worst weekend ever. I really don’t want to go back here (Clark). Actually, I don’t want to ever stay in the same room with my parents and brother. One thing, I could not sleep from their snoring and when they wake up I try to sleep but they are so noisy. Then opens the lights like they’re the only one in the room. I’m trying to sleep here. Another thing is unspeakable. It leads to me hating this weekend more. I kinda am rethinking if I want to  go to the States with my dad and grandmother. I don’t want to be the one to take care of them both. I am gonna try to stay away from every possible offer to go out of town with the family. Just wanna stay at home doing nothing or go with friends and doing nothing.

I really  hate this place. Gives me bad memories. I’m also becoming fat because they keep on offering me too many food and saying that’s it’s alright because it’s a holiday BUT IT’S NOT! IT’S NOT ALRIGHT!

In other news… I had this crazy dream about one of my teachers during high school. Very weird and I do hope that I would not dream again. It’s just creepy. Not gonna give you what the dream was all about because it gives me the chills. CREEPY DREAM.

At least we’re going back now. I can finally sleep in my own bed. I CAN FINALLY HAVE PEACE AND QUIET. I won’t be listening to their snores all night. FINALLY!!

My Point Exactly

My point is that most of the talented major characters are overshadowed by all the guest stars. I won't say that I hate having guest stars, they're charming, but if every episode I'm going to watch each one of them singing a solo and most of the regular cast are not even getting a decent solo well obviously Glee values guest stars more than the regular cast. I don't like Charice... THERE I'VE SAID IT! Hate me now.
Guest stars get more story than all the others. Glee also failed in the reality part. I thought they were on a budget and very unpopular how could they get most of the band (with violinists, gospel choir and all that jazz) plus the lights and all those special effects? You may say that they're volunteers but if they're volunteers then there could probably be some audience for them and not for the Glee club. Why are the parents so not supportive? Why is Will so close to the students that it actually is very creepy? Glee showed us realistic plots in the first few episode of season 1 and since it got so popular it because so unrealistic.
Gonna stop now because I have to get ready for my trip to Clark.

YOU CAN’T JUST KILL THOSE CHARACTERS!!! YOU’RE NOT JK ROWLING. SHE HAS MORE CHARACTERS FOR US TO HANG ON TO BUT YOU ONLY HAVE A FEW CHARACTERS THAT GREW ON US. WHY KILL THEM?! WHY?! WHY?! YOU MAKE THEM HAPPY THEN YOU KILL THEM?! (talking about ANNIE AND FINNICK) THAT’S JUST CRUEL!!! I CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!

Okay. I need to get back to reality. Should probably read another book so that I would stop thinking how sad the ending was.

I actually okay with Josh Hutcherson as Peeta but Liam whatever from the Last Song is so not a Gale.
Thoughts on other characters:
Well there are only two characters who had real actors playing on my head while I read the series and that is Joanna and President Coin.
I like Joanna to be played by Natalie Portman I don't know why but I just think she can play the role and as for Coin I like her to be played by Judi Dench, she's the kind of actress who can play such superior characters like Coin.
It's my opinion anyway.

I'm currently reading the latest Shopaholic book just too get over the depressing ending of Mockingjay. It's really depressing. No matter who she ends up (Peeta or Gale) she will never be the same again and the only reason why she wanted to survive the Hunger Games (Prim) is gone and that's kinda depressing. Also the fact that Suzanne Collins made a few pages of happy moments for Finnick and Annie and decided to kill Finnick at the end killed me. There are also cliffhangers for me like: What happened to the others? Was it really Coin who sent those silver parachutes? What happened to Gale? All we know is that he had a fancy job in District 2 but what is that job? What happened to Annie now that Finnick is dead? What is the story behind Annie and Finnick? And Joanna and Finnick? Is Haymitch continued to be drunk? Is he dead in the Epilogue? What happened to the other Districts? And there are many more questions! TELL US SUZANNE COLLINS?! TELL US!!!

Again... my opinion.

Fun fact about myself

I watch iCarly just to see the relationship that is Seddie (Sam and Freddie) basically I search the net if there are any episode that will contain episodes that will feature them having moments together (unfortunately sadly there are only two) then watch them. But when there's nothing on tv and I stumble upon an iCarly episode I take time to watch it and if it has this lame plot I don't continue watching it.
Yes... I am just a kid who likes something.

Unpopular opinion about Glee

Some of you might know that I don’t really like Charice that much

So here’s the dealio. You only had Charice for one episode and then you bring her back as if she has a major story to Glee and give her these major songs that gives her about 2-3 minutes of screen time of her singing(and the screen time for the story lines are not included which gives her more time than ever). The episode is called “The Night of Neglect” it’s about those singers who are neglected or something and yet you neglect those other characters. For example Tina Cohen-Chang, she’s a major character and yet Charice’s character has more screen time of herself singing than Tina. Whenever you let Tina sing it’s like you just let her sing whatever song just to pass the time but it shouldn’t be like that. SHE’S A MAJOR CHARACTER FOR GOD’S SAKE!! Guest stars are awesome but if they have more storyline than the other characters (the one who has been in the show for a long time now) then those guest stars kinda look so annoying (ehem Holly Holiday who should probably leave now) because we know more about them than the other characters.

About Will: I thought the show was about the kids not about the moderator. I know he’s an important character but he has a lot of years ahead of him and the kids aren’t gonna be there for a long time in fact they’re gonna be graduating soon. I know Will’s not gonna leave the Glee club just because his first batch of members are graduating. So he has a lot of time to build a story line.

It’s just my opinion so don’t hate. It’s just the point of Glee from the pilot is sooooooooooooooooo freakin’ far away from the point of Glee in season 2. There are episodes that are awesome but really sometimes there is no point of it. Only a few characters get a character build up.

I feel so lonely in facebook.

Dammit. I see people talking to each other’s wall and ugh why don’t people talk to me? I’m pretty sure they’re sick of me. I’m gonna die of loneliness this summer because I keep looking at my friends’ wall posts to each other. I am no use to them unless if it’s something important. And my other friends are not really close to me. WHY DON’T I HAVE A GROUP OF FRIENDS? WHY DON’T I HAVE A FRIEND WHO STAYS ONLINE ALL NIGHT AND TALK TO ME? I just realize it right now. My cousin is also busy with her school stuff that she won’t be hanging out with me this summer. Listening now to emo Katy Perry song.

The 'Rents and My Rants

My parents are always bugging me. I can't get any privacy in this place because they're always up to my business. I use the computer they creep behind me to see what I'm doing. I'm reading and they come in and bother me with school stuff (IT'S SUMMER DAMMIT!) and then they tell me that I only have one month of summer left. OH FOR GOODNESS SAKES LET ME ENJOY SUMMER BY BEING LAZY AND NOT THINKING ABOUT SCHOOL. JUST GIVE ME A WEEK OR SO! And then when I decide to go live my life or something and go out just to go to yoga classes they say that I'm always out. WTH MAN!! MAKE UP YOUR FREAKIN' MIND!!
Just now my dad stole my iPod. UGH!!! IT'S MY IPOD!! MY SONGS. I've got to delete songs that he likes so that he won't bother me. I am in a rage right now and I am stress eating because I don't have my music. WHERE THE HELL IS MY IPOD NOW?!
I need to leave this house. THIS IS MY RANT SO JUDGE ME.

It's Time I Revive My Blog

It's been a long times since I have posted an entry here. Probably because I concentrated (NOT) on the last few months of Senior Year and maybe (who am I kidding) Tumblr is taking over my life. I mean it's very accessible and very addictive but enough about Tumblr. It's time we get down to business. I start college in a month or so and I can't actually believe it.
It's not like a very big step like my sister did by moving to another country but just by moving out of my house and stay at a dorm for the rest of my college life is kind of a big climate change for me. I am preparing myself for the big change. From a private all girls school to a private (is DLSU a private school?) co-ed university. For all those who are wondering what my course is, it's literature. So as I was saying, I am preparing for the big change. I am taking yoga classes and exercising daily... I'm not doing it all for College but I might as well be. These people are vicious, they will judge me just by my size. Okay... that was mean... not just to me but for the others out there. I am trying to build my confidence up so whatever size I am, I am comfortable with everything.
I do hope I met a lot of cool people and probably make some a lot of friends. Pray for me that I will survive next school year. Probably post some more when my life becomes interesting. For the meantime check out my other blog. I usually just reblog but whatever.
