My speech for Poseidon... which is really stupid.

This was my speech for Poseidon for English class. We were doing things about gods and goddesses.

I am Poseidon, son of Cronus and Rhea
Brother to Zeus, Hades, Demeter, Hera and Hestia
The sea I rule, with power and might
Offend me and I will call for a fight
My powers won’t ever let me down
I will move the earth and throw you to the ground
For the sea is not just what I control
Beware of my powerful earthquakes ‘cause that’s just how I roll
Bad temper you say I may have
Good looks, I have and very strong Abs (no sense and not rhyming)
One story I may tell, to y’all mortal beings
A story about me (I?) and Athena’s winnings
I wanted the land Athens before it was called thee
But a competition I have from knee to knee (Miss Canivel suggested something about Matthew Perry HAHAHAHAH! WHUT?! Also, I couldn’t think of anything that could rhyme with thee at that time)
T’was my brother’s daughter that fought me
Neither one of us wanted to flee
We must persuade the people who will choose thee
The competition ended with that stupid Athena giving them an Olive tree
This made me mad VERY MAAAAD!
For I flooded the Attic Plain… Very bad!
So I dare you to offend me
I’ll just punish y’all and throw you to the sea
So I’ll leave you all with a warning
I’ll look upon you with bad tiding
If you do not respect me
Just beware ‘cause I’m the god of the Sea

GUESS WHAT!!! MISS CANIVEL APPROVES! Even though she wasn’t our English teacher. Why give me just a 94?
