Small Things Can Be A Big Help

I just got home from school and today was really really fun! It's a nice feeling to know that you helped your fellow friends. My first job was to unfold plastic bags and sort them by size. We're the plastic girls. ahahah. I went around the podium shouting "May plasitc ba kayo diyan?", it was so funny (for me. ahaha)
Then Ms. C told us to get the plastic bags that we've collected and put clothes in it. 1 pair (top and bottom) for Nanay, 1 pair for Tatay, 1 pair for Anak na Babae (teen), 1 pair for Anak na Lalaki (Teen), 1 pair for baby boy and 1 pair for baby girl. It felt like shopping for our own family. It was so funny and it kinda felt like a race. I went around again and got stuck giving out cup-noodles.
We got organized and distributed all the things one by one in a big semi-oblong style. The cup-noodles was the first one to run out of supplies. ahahah.
At the end of the day (Before 4 pm) we've packed 400 (+) bags and collected about 8000 pesos. We'll be back tomorrow and everybody is welcome to help by donating food, rice, milk and clothes. Any students from SHS, dating students ng SHS, teachers, parents of student from SHS, bus operators of SHS can still help out tomorrow.

(SHS community helping out)

(Ms. P's arm and Ms. O my noodle buddies)

(Aina. She was posted next to the noodels handing out coffee mix and powdered milk)

This is all I can say for now. It's hard to recall everything. You just have to be there to believe it and feel it. Sorry about the pictures I used my phone to take them and they're not that good (also the video). I just hope you can view the video.

HELP THE VICTIMS OF TYPHOON ONDOY!
Let's try our best to do the best!

It's Never Simple, Never Easy

When we went to school yesterday one of my teachers told me the story about what happened to my other teachers and it really got to me. We also went to my grandmother's yesterday. I got to see the pictures from Saturday and it really shocked me. The water was so high and I remember there were these news last Saturday that the flood there was so high and then there was a fire. It's really really depressing.
But it also made me happy when I saw how Filipinos helps out after the typhoon which shows Bayanihan. I'm going to school later to help out, too. I just hope we could really help all those people in need.
This also made me thankful that we were not affected. Mom said that we (The people that are safe and not a victim of the typhoon) should try to help out because God saved us to do good. I'm going to try to help the typhoon victims especially the people from my school. I'll be going to help out later in school and if you want to help out you help out, in any way that you can.

Please Pray for the Typhoon Victims and Please also help them.

While Waiting For My Mom and Lunch

I would just like to say that many things had happened this year in the Philippines (i.e. Swine Flu, The Death of Former President Cory Aquino, Death of Iglesia ni Cristo Executive Minister Eraño Manalo, many storms and now Ondoy) and each of those events they have left us deeply sad. I will try my best to help all the typhoon victims and you should to. This event has told me that anything can happen.

P.S. ignore my grammar. woooosh.

Events:
- Investi Meeting
- No Classes (till Tuesday)

Crap! It's raining again! We don't have a car to get me to Fel's house even though it's just a block away so this means I will have to walk (It's raining!).

Rick Murray (from Degrassi) Is A Psycho!

Whoa! Just seen the Emma (2009 TV serial) Promo and it's kinda weird. I don't know if the girl who looks like she's sleepy or took drugs was Emma (forgive me). Oh well. I can't wait to watch it. Emma is my favorite Jane Austen novel and so far Gwyneth Paltrow is the best Emma. Oh. I forgot, the guy who played Edmund in the 1999 Movie version of Mansfield Park will be Mr. Knightley and the guy who played Edmund in the 2007 TV version of Mansfied Park will be Mr. Elton. Funneh! :))

There's No Classes TODAY! (BECAUSE IT'S SATURDAY!)

Today: Training was hard for me today. I don't know but last year I could easily catch a fly ball and a ground ball but now I can't. I keep on making mistakes and it's getting annoying. I can't quit now... I love the game. It's just hard. I'm just tired every single day. I just fake a smile for others so that they won't feel what I'm feeling.
I just had an idea for Investi Project next year that involves softball and video project. I want to do it. I hope it will get approve next year.
I missed The Wonder Years today. First episode and I've missed it. I hope there's a rerun tonight.

Retreat: I love it. Even though it was short, it was very inspiring. Even the Reco-letters are inspiring. Thanks to Gel I know what I want to do in life. I want to be a director or a film maker. I know it's a job that people will say is a load of crap but who cares. Film is my passion. I love our class. "Walang Malas, Walang Swerte!" (I kept on saying that during training and believe me when you're playing softball it will never work because whatever you do the ball is still going towards you.)

Degrassi: I've been obsessed with it! I've finished 2 seasons this week and I'm kinda behind on The Nanny and it just ended in hallmark (and started again but in season 1). I love the show! Seriously. I remember watching it when I was younger but season 1 only. Ugghhh... After a day's hard work it's always fun watching degrassi.

Trigo: I love trigo and all but graphing is dirty work. Now I need to rewrite my homework. ahahaha.

Yesterday's Quote From Me (directly from Sam's Twitter): (It starts raining) "YES! WALANG PASOK BUKAS! Kasi Saturday."
In translation:
(It starts raining) "YES! THERE'S NO CLASSES TOMORROW! Because Saturday."
In Spanish: ¡(Empieza a llover) "SI! ¡No HAY CLASES MAÑANA! Porque el sábado".
In French: (Il commence pleuvoir) "OUI ! Il n'y A pas DE CLASSE DEMAIN ! Parce que samedi ."
In German: (Es fängt an zu regnen) „JA! ES GIBT KEINE KLASSEN MORGEN! Weil Samstag“.

Stressed Out: Part Two

This is the type of stress that I have (I was suppose to post this last week but I was busy) - Clearly, I have Hyperstress which is, according to the handouts given to us by our Health teacher, another type of negative stress.
- It comes when a person is forced to undertake or undergo more than he or she can take.
- A stressful job that overworks an individual will cause that individual to face hyperstress.
- A person with this type of stress may tend to react to even the littlest of stressors (source of stress) with hugh emotional outbreaks
- This can lead to serious emotional and physical repercussions.
(source: www.stressfocus.com)

Early Warning Signs of Stress
(if there is an "x" mark on it it means I'm experiencing whatever it is stated after the "x" mark)

Physical Signs
[x] Muscle Tension
[x] Headache
[x] Upset Stomach (must be because I did not eat lunch today)
[x] Pounding heart (after every subject)
[x] Shortness of breath (again, after every subject)
[x] Increased sweating (ugh!)
[x] Dry mouth (This sucks because I don't always bring my lip balm at school)
[] Skin Rash (never had one)
[x] Trembling or twitching
[x] Grinding teeth, nail biting (when I'm angry when there's lots of home work to be done, grinding teeth, I mean)

Emotional Signs
[x] Irritability, anger (always. Note to self: must change this attitude)
[x] Impatience (Bayani Third World)
[x] Nervousness (before every subject)
[x] Forgetfulness (names of classmates :|)
[x] Inability to concentrate (laugh)
[x] Negative thinking ("Wala na, di na ako papasa!")
[x] Loss of interest
[x] Self-criticism
[x] Increased crying (WAAAH! :(( )

Behavior Signs
[x] Loss of appetite (shhhh!)
[x] Overeating (Loss of appetite and this?! Pick one, Janine!)
[] Drug abuse (does vitamin c tablets count?)
[x] Sleep problems (Note to self: must change this)
[x] Restlessness
[x] Hurrying, talking fast
[x] Withdrawing from relationship (friendships :|)
[x] Criticizing others (all the time!)
[] RecklessBehavior
[] Fidgeting

All in all, I can't take it anymore. You might ask why do I complain and yet have time writing this entry . . . well loss of interest, I guess. And this makes me feel better and organize and it helps me with my everyday activities. The thing is, I need to do my health homework (art of cramming, I should write a book about it) and I've loss interest in it. No one can blame me, the topic that I've brought up is still related to Health. I'm in the verge of falling asleep and failing to do my homework. Damn me and my lack of interest. Damn my art of cramming. As much as I curse cramming let me say that I love it! To tell you the truth, I work best under pressure. Except for over the top projects (such as IPs, History Projects and others, they will always be an other).

Today: Mary-like dressing. Wore a black skirt and a yellow top, I looked like an angry teacher. This that may have started suckish but it was great at the end. Because I got to wore normal clothes. Hallilujah! Training! Training! Training!

NOW I CAN REST IN PEACE
NOT!
