This is Austen's Generation

Okay so I'm sounding like those bloggers who only blog about Jane Austen or some other author or a movie and let me tell you this, I'm not one of them (though I really love reading those kind of blogs and love knowing new news about some stuffs I really care about... i.e. Jane Austen News)

(if you haven't finish Gossip Girl, 90210 or Pushing Daisies please turn away now and may be skip the few paragraphs)
Finished Gossip Girl and I love it! :D Chuck + Blair = Best Couple Ever! I'm obsessed about television shows right now that I'm having this one last goal in my summer goals:
update on my summer goals
1.Lose Weight
2.Join an acting class (I don't know if i could do this)
3.Practice the violin (for auditions next school year?)
4.Read lots and lots of books (already started)
[x]5.Start reading Noli and Hamlet (for the next school year... wooh go juniors!) (it just says start so I've started... i haven't finished)
[x]6.Start going to the gym (hahah! since summer trainings are canceled in school, all of them) (it's the same as working out)
7. Learn to speak French (wahahahaha... yes guys, it's true I've been faking it my whole life!)
8. Finish all the TV shows you wanted to watch (i.e. Gossip Girl, 90210, Pushing Daisies and Ugly Betty)
So it means... TV Show Check List
[x] 90210
[x] Pushing Daisies
[x] Gossip Girl
[x] Ugly Betty
It's not much but it's the only stuff I love for now and like the Avenue Q song says everything is just for now (like some people in my life, you know who you are).
Song Playing: God Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts
I love being back in Manila with internet (and no load) and the sims 2 (and no load), oh let's not forget, and Gossip Girl, 90210, Pushing Daisies and Ugly Betty (and no load). Yes! I don't have LOAD! I am now enjoying my Computer privileges (am I right about this? maybe not).

xoxo Chuck and Blair

Lost in Katy Perry's Songs

The facts were these:
  1. It has been 6 days, 7 hours and 15 minutes since my sister came back to the Philippines.
(Laugh) Okay, so I'm still addicted to Pushing Daisies even though I finished it 2 hours and 6 minutes ago (this is what you get if you keep watching it- counting the number of years, months, days, minutes and seconds, I mean). But within those 6 days, 7 hours and 15 minutes (and probably a few seconds) I have spend a lot of time with my sister. We first celebrated our uncle's birthday 9 hours after my sister arrival and then the whole of the next day in the mall and then dinner with our grandmother. We went to Baguio the next day (after the mall day) and spend 4 days there (ugh... and double ugh from the car ride home- I will never tell that story to anyone!).
  2. I'm home and I'm sick (ugh! and I mean UGHHHH!). Life sucks and then you get sick.
  3. My iPod is now broken from the long and painful ride home yesterday. I can't believe it's really broken. Everyone from my family keeps asking what I'll do with out it.
  4. In 12 days I will be in school and probably in hell.
  5. In 6 days I will be playing Sims3! (ooooohhhhh yeahhhh!!!)
  6. (and the last fact) I need to go now to play the Sims2

Does your mother know that you're out?

Summer is about to end and nothing special has happened to me yet (yes, I'm still expecting something grand to happen). I was really excited to go to Baguio this Saturday but now I don't think I want to go. I don't want to go again with only my family since because it's fun having company and when we go there alone it's like another episode in my house (which is nothing to do and being bored all day long).
"A" just texted awhile ago that she has good news but is gonna tell me after she eats dinner, well it's been long and she hasn't texted back. I want to know what's the good news. I'm gonna guess right now. You know what? I'm going to make a list

Possible Good News That "A" is Going to Tell Me
  1. I'm famous
  2. She started reading this blog (That would be great news for me)
  3. She started reading Jane Austen (That would be so awesome)
  4. We're going to be in the same class next year (which is impossible right now because the list isn't out until the end of the month)
  5. I'm not crazy
  6. "E" doesn't hate me at all
  7. She's buying me a new phone
  8. She's giving me a plane ticket to Paris (and I will be leaving at the end of the month)
  9. I was chosen to play some cool role in broadway
  10. She found my Mr. Darcy
I just need to sit back, relax and wait until she texts back.

P.S. A and E are first letters of my friends' name/surname/nickname/middle name.

Bang Bang Boom

Again, today I have nothing to do. Apart from going to Mass today I'm completely bored. I'm watching 90210 actually but since I saw on the DVD I bought that I only have one episode left so after that episode I, again, have nothing to do. I check my Twitter page earlier and I just don't get the fact that I'm losing followers. Damn. I mean I kinda get it, with no one reading this blog why would anyone wants to follow me in Twitter. At least at Plurk I'm safe but still on the 23 friends and 1 fan so that make me a huge loser (worrying about my followers also makes me a loser).
I hate thinking people hates me.

Sister Countdown: 4 days till she comes home

My 90210 Crush

(Ryan Eggold)
He plays Mr. Matthews (okay, I'm totally addicted to the name Matthew. Matthew Macfadyen. Matthew McConaughey. Gah) in 90210 and when I first saw him I was like "He looks like Robert Pattinson-ish" and then it turned into a "He looks like James McAvoy" thing. So I really think that I have a new crush... waaaah! I thought he was you know 28 or 30 but when I check imdb he was just 24! Gosh! He looks old. :))

To Do List:
[]Wake up Early (nope! not today)
[x]Go to Mass
[]Finish Book about Kristin Chenoweth
[]Sleep early
[x]Finish watching 90210 DVD

Events:
-Mass
-Somewhere

P.S. I pre-ordered Sims 3! :>

Every Darcy For Himself

From the 1995 mini-series version to the 2008 (kinda weird like) mini-series version, all the Darcies appear to have the moment of being wet.

(edited by: janine)

In the 1995 version of Pride and Prejudice Mr. Darcy was riding a horse and then maybe thought "hmmm, I should go for a swim" and jumps to the nearest lake he saw.
In the 2005 version the scene where Mr. Darcy was wet was when he proposed for the first time to Elizabeth Bennet in which Elizabeth replied "And those are the words of a gentleman? For the first moment I met you, your arrogance and your conceit, your selfish disdain to the feelings of other made me realize that you were the last man I could ever be prevailed upon to marry!" whoopack!
In the 2008 mini-series "Lost in Austen" where Amanda Price was lost in a Jane Austen book which happens to be Pride and Prejudice she asked Mr. Darcy to go into the lake and go back wet. "Post-modern Moment".

Now it is your choice. Colin Firth (1995), Matthew Macfadyen (2005) or Elliot Cowan (Lost in Austen 2008)? Which one is the best?

For me, they're all the best! Just as long as they stay in character (which is Mr. Darcy, of course) they will stay perfect. :D

My Good Opinion Once Lost is Lost Forever

Yes, this is what I get for watching Pride and Prejudice until 3 am this morning and waking up 9 am. My head still hurts and I have a little bit of a headache but that didn't stop me from reading a book. I spend thirty minutes after I woke up reading a book about Kristin Chenoweth. And the little information about Ménière's disease in the book didn't made me stop reading and throw up since my father thinks that that is one disease I'm suffering right now but looks like his wrong since Kristin's description of it is not at all equal to what is happening to me right now (but I do sometimes get a little bit of a ring in my ear).
Ok, so I was actually talking about Pride and Prejudice (1995 version) and let me tell you this, even though I'm still hung up about the 2005 version, I am in love with Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy! But of course Matthew Macfayden is the best Mr. Darcy ever, though he only has a few lines when he speaks he will surely melt your hearts.

I'm Lovin' It.

Episode 20 has been deleted in Project Free TV

While I'm finding the missing episode of GG, I'm writing this blog.

I decided while I was watching episode 19 (season 2) that I really wanted a Chuck Bass. Even though he's a little bit of a bad ass I really want him. I love him when he really does care because you can see the effort. He's so hot, too. I couldn't resist a perfect look! He is so super duper HOT!! :">

(Chuck Bass: The Perfect Captain Tilney!)

OHHH! NORTHANGER UPDATES! I just found the Perfect General Tilney! :D

DON CREECH!
He plays Mr. Sweeney in Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide (2004-2007) and some guy in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008).
May I present to you, Don Creech.

Now all I need to find is Mr. Tilney, The Allens, The Morlands and The Thorpes.

"Just call me Mrs. Chuck Bass."

While waiting for GG to load up

Dear Readers,

My inner world of Jane Austen caused me to forget my outer world of reality which means that I've been ignoring a lot of things that is not to be ignored. Like Gossip Girl and Pushing Daisies. No one told be Dan and Serena are back together (I'm still in episode 16 and if they broke up after that please don't tell me). I couldn't understand anything they were saying in pushing daisies (maybe because I started to watch it in the middle of the episode).
It has also made me realize that I haven't talk about my friends here in my blog yet (I won't start now since nothing much is going on with them since I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM SOME OF THEM!) and I think that's a little bit unfair. I've been writing about myself for the past 2 months now and nothing much about who I hang out with and or share secrets with. Nada! Maybe one post but compare to Jane Austen (who is sometimes my inspiration for some of my posts) it's like they're nothing to me. Dang. I don't want that to be the impression towards my friends.
I just want to apologize to all of my friends and to K, I know I haven't been there for you but right now I would really want to be there for you. Actually I'm always here for you, you just have to call on me. Don't expect me to know that there's something wrong because I'm not God, I don't know everything.
So yes, this sudden epiphany was caused by my dear Jane Austen, who have help me through the gap.

Now I shall leave you in your search for true happiness and watch GG.

Miss Janine

update on my summer goals

Mr. Tilney = Perfection

Add up his being the hero of Northanger Abbey and him being sarcastically flirtatious then multiply the fact that he is rich and he is a kind, sensible and handsome man you will get the answer of PERFECTION!!!

Hero + Sarcastically Flirtatious x RICH x KIND x SENSIBLE x HANDSOME = Mr. Tilney

(What did you just call me? I believe you are right, I am Mr. Perfect.)

4 Years from now there will be another Northanger Abbey (movie):

Cast:
Catherine Morland: Me
Mr. Henry Tilney: you make the decision
Eleanor Tilney: Felicity Jones (whahaha... i just want her to be in the film)
Capt. Fredrick Tilney: Ed Westwick (it would be awesome)
Gen. Tilney: same with this, great old actors

Directed by: Janine Martinez :D

My imaginations! Seriously I should stop NOW!

What about Miss Kingsley?

If you are updating and reading this blog you must have read my romantic tales of Miss Christina Kingsley. If it would be possible to have any reviews about the first two chapters so that if I do make the next chapters of the book I would have some suggestions I would like to be inspired to.

The plot (so far) is this:

Set in Shotwick, Derbyshire, England in the early 1800s a girl of the age of five and twenty is out to find love in many different ways. Even though she does not want to be parted with her dearly papa and her beautiful Kingsley Manor she is set to find herself a husband. There are two suitable man who are in love with her and she decides to play the game. When the game suddenly turn into a disaster she is struck with an unlikely decision.

vah! I know it sounds suckish but please be kind to it. It's not a novel that would be entered in a contest or publication, it's just a novel by a fifteen years old girl who likes to read lots of Jane Austen, Meg Cabot, Bronte, Dickens kind of books... hahahaha :)) I do hope you could spare the time to read it.

By Jove! Who is Felicity Jones?

Felicity Jones was so beautiful and so funny in Northanger Abbey. She's from Bermingham, England, UK. Her birthday is on January 19 1984 which makes her 25. I do love her so much! She's so beautiful and she can act. She would be perfect for any role in a Jane Austen movie/mini-series. I think she'll play Emma very well!

I salute you Felicity Jones! :D

One Thing

If there is one thing I'd like to learn that one thing would be Miley Cyrus' Hoedown Throwdown. I'm practicing on it and I hope I could get it before school starts this June. hahaha. I'd be the first in school to have watched the movie (ew... sucks to be me) and the first one to know the moves before it is released and be all like "so over rated" when it will be.

I'm trying this tutoral in youtube on how to do it and it's so funny slowing it down. How to do a Hoedown Throwdown

Ah the many faces of being a kid or teenager is that you could do whatever you like and if it's too embarrassing then you could always do it in the comfort of your own room. (i'm not talking about drugs... i'm talking about dancing the hoedown throwdown)

I leave you thee know to also learn the Hoedown Throwdown and together we shall dominate the world! :))

Miss Kingsley (Chapter Two) By Janine

Chapter Two

Sir Charles Rudolf was the most respectable man in the town of Shotwick, Derbyshire. He managed Darfield Park and was the owner of the local bookshop that made him rich. Darfield Park was the most beautiful estate that Christina Kingsley have ever seen and was the most visited one too.
Sir Charles was a very close friend with Miss Kingsley and he always invites her to stay at Darfield. One summer’s day’s visit last year she met his son Sebastian Rudolf, who was there to visit his father before going back to the University that autumn. That very moment when Mr. Sebastian Rudolf laid eyes on Miss Kingsley, he knew at once that she was to be his wife, the love of her life. He fell in love with her at once; he must find a way for her to love him.
A year later and many painful events had passed and he was still in love with her even though she had clearly showed that she wants to be, and nothing more, a friend to him. He had set off that autumn day broken hearted but determined to catch her eyes the year next.
For his son’s arrival back to Darfield, Sir Charles Rudolf was to hold a party that will put to notice his son’s achievement. This party was set the day after the events of the engagement of Miss Maria Kingsley to Mr. Caspian Scott of Crookbridge Manor and was the talk of the whole town of Scarcliffe that month.

“What a lovely party you have, Sir Charles.” Mrs. Kingsley had said upon her arrival, “Christina said that you have a lovely house but I say she was wrong.”
“Ah, and why is that so, Mrs. Kingsley?” Said Sir Charles with a little bit of a laugh.
“It is not lovely at all,” Mrs. Kingsley’s eyes went about the room and then to Sir Charles, “It is the most exquisite house I have ever laid my eyes on. Sir Charles, Lady Anne would have loved it.”
Sir Charles looked down and closed his eyes; it was still painful to him to talk about his dearly departed wife. “She did love it, even without the new decorations.”
“Oh, I’m sorry, Sir Charles, to have caused you grief.”
He looked at her and smiled. “So, where is your darling Christina. I haven’t heard from her since we met last week at the bookshop.”
“Sir Charles, my daughter, Christina.” Mr. Kingsley said when her daughter entered the room.
“Sir Charles!” Christina said at once when she saw him. “My dear Sir Charles, I do love this party.”
“But my dear you have just entered the house.” Mr. Kingsley said and all of them laughed. “You must know that.”
“Oh Papa, you know that it always starts with a wonderful entrance.” She said and bowed to Sir Charles. She then left the elder people in search of her other sisters, who had arrived earlier than Christina’s party. Her sister Maria was dancing with Mr. Scott and her other sister Elena was talking to the Miss Smiths and Miss Emerson at the end of the room. She was heading towards her sister when a man stepped on her gown, which made her fall back. “Oh!” she had caught the stares of many people in the room. She blushed completely and was very embarrassed at what had happened when the man who had caused this lend his hand to help her.
“Oh Miss Kingsley!” Said Mr. Sebastian Rudolf, who was rushing down the room to attend to her.
“I am very sorry.” The man said when she was finally standing. He looked at her and she looked at him. She had never met a more handsome man in the world and she had felt her face blush as she gazed into his eyes. The man seized his hand and left. “What a strange man.” She whispered to herself.
“Oh Miss Kingsley, I do apologies to such a behavior of the man who have caused you to fall.” Mr. Rudolf said when he was at her side, “Please, let me show my apologies by asking you to the next dance.”
“You are not to apologize but I would like to dance, thank you.”
He was all smiles when he had left her to talk to Mrs. Emerson who was very much lost and she continue to search for her sisters. She had reached her sister at last and greeted her. “Have you seen that little incident I had earlier?” She whispered to her sister. “Some strange man had stepped on my gown and I fell. Pray, do you know that man?” She pointed the man who had caused her to fell to her sister and her sister gasped. “Who is it? Is he an evil man?”
“No, sister, that is Mr. William Lowell. He came with George and me before you have arrived and we have told him our plan for the two of you to be introduced.
“Well then, I do not want to know a man who is so careless and strange.”
“Sister, please, you have promised me and he did apologized.”
“Even so, a careless man would never please me and I think he doesn’t like me for he seized his hand at once and never did spoke a word after that.”
“Oh well, I do want you to be happy and if he will not make you happy I will not introduce you. Again, I have failed you, sister.”
“You have not failed me. The next time you play match maker to someone,” she looked at her sister again and smile, “make sure that someone is not to be me.” they but laughed and parted.
When the dance was over Mr. Rudolf came at once to Christina to claim her hand for the next one. “You look beautiful, Miss Kingsley.” He said, bowed, and began the dance. It was a very nice dance and Mr. Rudolf and Miss Kingsley where the most graceful pair in it and all the eyes were on them.
“Who is that delicate creature, Perry?” The man, who we now know as Mr. Lowell, said to his friend as they watched the dance. “I have the pleasure holding her hand and the humiliation of causing her to fall.”
“To fall? Oh dear!” was the reply of Mr. George Perry to his friend.
“What is the matter? I was kind to help her and apologized to her.”
“That creature, as you say, is the Miss Kingsley.”
“The Miss Christina Kingsley you have promised to introduce me to?”
“Yes, her.”
“I’m afraid I have failed you, Perry, for now she is dancing with someone else and probably falling in love with him.”
“Oh no, William, you have mistaken. Mr. Sebastian Rudolf is the last man Miss Kingsley will ever marry for his achievement was not enough for her or so I think. I do know this, he proposed to her last year and was turn down and asked to propose to her again the next year. I do think she thought that she could fall in love with him and please her father and his father but the looks of her today is that she has not fallen in love with him and might turn him down once and for all.”
“Our Miss Kingsley is a strange thing. Any woman would be glad to be married with such a wealth as Mr. Rudolf has and be living in this beautiful place.”
“But you have forgot, William, she isn’t like other women and she already lives in a beautiful house too, Kingsley Manor.”
“She has got eyes of green, George. You know how I love green. Her hands are so soft when I held it. Will you still introduce me to her?” He gazed at her and admired her. “She has such wonderful auburn hair that matches her eyes.”
Mr. Perry laughed. “Oh like Christmas?”
“Yes like Christmas. Perry, introduce me to her, please.”
“I will talk to her. After what had happened between the two of you I do not think she wants to know you.”
The dance finally stopped and the whole room was in applause and Mr. Perry left his friend to talk to her fiancée and her sister.
“Miss Kingsley.” Mr. Lowell said and smiled. “You are very strange.”

Hannah Montana / Ghosts of Girfriends Past

I just watched Hannah Montana and I could only say this... it was better than the tv series! hahah! I loved it (I think). It was stupid, yeah, but it was also funny and a little bit sad. It ranks good on my list.

Now for Ghosts of Girlfriends Past:

It was a little bit corny and a little bit boring but funny... I just wanted to see Matthew but the movie sucked.... >:| (sorry for the people who liked it). Some jokes weren't even funny but whatever, at least I've watched it. I think no one got the part after the three ghosts showed him stuff and he opened the window and said "I'm alive" and asked a kid down stairs if it was christmas and the kid said "it's saturday, stupid" because no one laughed, it was suppose to be like in Christmas Carol.

Miss Kingsley (Chapter One) By Janine

Chapter One

"Mama!" cried Elena as she was running towards the house to her mother, "oh, mama, such wonderful news!"

"Bless me child, that is not a way for a lady that is to be married to behave." said her mother, Mrs. Kingsley. "Child what is it? You shouldn't have run all this way, look at you breathless and tired!"
Elena Kingsley ignored her mother, "Mama, I just heard that our sister, your daughter, Maria has just been asked to marry Mr. Scott! Oh, is not that wonderful news mother? Now you have two daughters who are engaged and a daughter and a son that are happily married" Mrs. Kingsley accidentally dropped her tea cup and as cup became thousand of pieces of fine china on the floor, Mrs. Kingsley became incapable to think about anything but her daughter Maria.
"Oh, dear, your favorite cup!"

"Maria to be married?" said Mrs. Kingsley, "my dear Maria to be a Scott! Upon my word! Mr. Kingsley will be thrilled to learn this, I must go to him at once"
"But mama-"
"Oh, Elena will you kindly ring the bell for the maid," Mrs. Kingsley ignoring her daughter was now walking towards the door. "Mr. Kingsley! My darling, where are you! I have good news about Maria"
"Mama, please do not tell papa yet, he will get angry unless Maria herself tells him!" Elena cried as she followed her Mother to the grand library of their house, "Mama, please!" It was too late for now Mrs. Kingsley has opened the library door.
"Mr. Kingsley-"
"Papa is not here, mama." says her other daughter Christina, who was the only person in the library "You have just missed him for he went and called on the Scotts." Christina, the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kingsley was not married for she would not want to leave the great house she lives in and her father. "So, Maria to be married!"
"And before you," Elena teased her sister, "I don't quite know how you feel about that."
"Well, to have you know, I'm quite happy for her."
"Oh sister, when are you going to get married?" says Elena and sat down on the chair near her sister. "I'm sure it will make you very happy. I'm happy already being engaged and what do you think how I will be when I am married? Oh please sister, let me introduce you to George's friend Mr. Lowell, he is a great man."
"Your husband to be, Mr. George Perry, and his friends are not the kind of people that will please me. Maybe George will please me for he is to be my brother but his friends are not what I call good company."
"Mr. Lowell is the best company you will ever know, sister, and he is not like George's other friends from the university. He has been a friend to George since they where as small as Cassandra's baby."
"Oh yes I have forgot!" Christina said as she took out a letter from her pocket, "Mother, you should read this, it will give you more joy for she has said that she will be expecting another baby."
"Another baby!" cried her mother as she took the letter from her daughters hand, "Another baby! Maria and Elena to be married!" and then she left the room.
"What about Mr. Lowell?" cried Elena for she has not forgotten about their previous subject,
"And what about him, Elena?"
"You must give him a chance."

"If I will, will you stop pairing me up with one of your friends or your friends friend?" Elena nodded, "Well then introduce me if you must but do not expect me to fall madly in love with him or him to me."
"Very well then, you will meet him tomorrow at the ball" Her sister's face was all in shock, "What? I thought you said I could introduce him to you."
"I never thought it would be that fast!"
"Oh, Christina, please!"
Christina sighed and after a few moments, "Tomorrow then". Elena embraced her sister and left the room. She was above happiness now for she has another sister to be married and another on the way to matrimony. Her thoughts were about her brother, Thomas, with his wife and children, her sister Cassandra with her husband and children, Maria with Mr. Scott, herself with her George and Christina with Mr. William Lowell. "What a happy family we all would be!"

I got my books for school! / Ghosts of Girlfriends Past

I'm very happy to have my school books now and that I could start scanning them. I just love the look of new things for school. I got new books, notebooks, papers, envelopes and &c.

20 pages to go

I'm reading Persuasion now by Jane Austen and seriously I can't put the book down even if someone is calling me or texting me or when I'm using the computer. 20 pages left and I'm done reading it. It's so.... words can't explain this thing when I'm reading it (excitement, love, eagerness whahahaha every word that is good can be put as this feeling). So yeah... which leads me to neglecting texts (which also means neglecting my bestfriend). How I have neglected her yesterday and when I explain that I couldn't text because of the books her only reply was yeah and then I kept on texting her so her only other replies are yeah, what and k. :| Another fight because I was reading a book.

Next book to be read: Northanger Abbey \m/ hahahaha! excellent as always!
